Ernest Fernandez, Jr.
Ernie Fernandez’s professional career as an educator spanned over 42 years with Hillsborough County Public Schools, exceling as a teacher, principal, and administrator, eventually centering on Adult and Community Education. He served as administrator of Brandon Academy from 1973-86 and was very active in the Brandon community. He served as Chairman of the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce, advocating for businesses to support educational excellence in our community.

Dr. Earl Lennard
Dr. Earl Lennard devoted nearly six decades of his life to public service in Hillsborough County, leaving an enduring mark on education and civic leadership. A graduate of Brandon High School and a member of the University of South Florida’s alumni, Lennard served as superintendent from 1996 to 2005. A history major and lifelong educator, teaching at the elementary and high school levels and later held senior leadership roles. Under his leadership the district grew into one of the largest. Lennard served as a Supervisor of Elections and was widely respected for his deep community involvement to the Chamber.
