The Central Hillsborough County Economic Development Council is a specialized group established with the primary goal of fostering economic growth, prosperity, and sustainability. The Council collaborates to identify opportunities and address challenges related to economic development. Its responsibilities include conducting research and analysis to assess the local economic landscape, identifying key industries or sectors for growth, developing strategies to attract investment and business development, and advocating for policies that support economic vitality and the Chamber. The Council also plays a pivotal role in implementing initiatives aimed at job creation, workforce development, infrastructure enhancement, and promoting entrepreneurship and innovation.
