Joel Brown, Tampa Electric Company Regional Affairs Manager

Joel currently serves as Regional Affairs Manager for Tampa Electric Company.  Over the past decade, Joel has worked in the offices of the late Congressman C.W. Bill Young , former Florida Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater, and most recently in Regional Government Affairs capacities for the Southwest Florida Water Management District and Pinellas County Utilities. As a 3rd generation native of Tampa, lifelong Floridian, and proud USF Alumnus of Political Science and Sustainability programs, Joel is passionate about  providing excellent customer service to key community stakeholders,  and providing education and outreach to various citizens groups, policymakers, and the business community, about TECO’s programs and goals to provide clean, reliable, and affordable energy in our community for generations to come.
