David Hines, United States Marine Corps
David is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. David served in the Marine Corps from 2008 until 2012. While in the Marine Corps, David was stationed in Japan, where he was involved with a number of humanitarian and peacekeeping missions in Korea, the Philippines, Bangladesh, and Thailand. David discovered his passion for the law while in the Marine Corps. After exiting the Marine Corps, David moved to Tampa to be with his now wife, Ava. He attended law school at Stetson University in Gulfport. While enrolled at Stetson, David had the opportunity to intern with a federal judge at the District Court for the Middle District of Florida in Tampa. David also took part in Stetson’s Veteran’s Law Institute, where David was able to assist Veterans with claims before the Department of Veterans Affairs. After graduating from Stetson, David started his career as an attorney at a law firm in St. Petersburg, Florida, practicing business and commercial law and litigation. While there, David was also able to continue his work with assisting Veterans with claims before the VA. After leaving the firm in St. Petersburg, David worked with Todd Foster Law Group in Tampa, practicing white collar criminal defense. In January of 2025, David started his own practice—the Hines Law Firm. David founded the Hines Law Firm with the goal of providing the community with a law firm specializing in catering to nearly all the legal needs of businesses and their owners. Since its opening, the Hines Law Firm has quickly grown—a feat that David contributes to the Central Hillsborough Chamber of Commerce and the community that supports it. |
