These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the programs, services, website, events, and membership offerings of the Brandon Riverview Chamber of Commerce (“BRCC,” “Chamber,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By joining the Chamber, registering for events, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Membership Chamber membership is open to businesses, organizations, and individuals aligned with the mission of supporting the regional business community.
Membership benefits may include:
Networking events
Educational programming
Business promotion opportunities
Advocacy representation
Membership is non-transferable.
2. Dues, Fees & Payments
Membership dues, event fees, and sponsorship payments must be paid in full according to published rates
Payments are processed through PCI-compliant third-party payment processors
The Chamber does not store full cardholder data
By submitting payment, you authorize the Chamber to charge the provided payment method for applicable fees
Refund Policy Unless otherwise stated:
Membership dues are non-refundable once processed
Event refunds may be granted at the Chamber’s discretion based on cancellation deadlines
3. Events & Programs The Chamber may photograph or record events for marketing and promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of your likeness unless you notify us in writing in advance. The Chamber reserves the right to:
Modify event schedules
Substitute speakers
Cancel events due to circumstances beyond our control
4. Code of Conduct Members and guests are expected to maintain professional and respectful behavior at Chamber events and in Chamber communications. The Chamber reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership or event participation for:
Harassment or discrimination
Fraudulent or unethical business practices
Conduct that damages the reputation or mission of the Chamber
5. Website Use You agree not to:
Use the website for unlawful purposes
Attempt unauthorized access to Chamber systems
Interfere with website functionality
All website content is the property of the Brandon Riverview Chamber of Commerce unless otherwise noted.
6. Intellectual Property The Chamber’s name, logo, branding, and materials may not be used without prior written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability The Chamber is not liable for:
Business losses arising from networking or referrals
Technical issues beyond our control
Actions of third-party vendors or event venues
Participation in Chamber activities is voluntary.
8. Compliance & Payment Security The Chamber adheres to:
Applicable U.S. nonprofit operational standards
Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) through approved processors
Card brand operating regulations for secure payment handling
Members agree not to misuse Chamber payment systems or attempt unauthorized transactions.
9. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Chamber, its officers, directors, staff, and volunteers from claims arising out of your participation, business activities, or violation of these Terms.
10. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
11. Changes to Terms The Chamber may update these Terms at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
